IT was a team effort at Aeternum Crossfit in Lochgelly as members raised more than £3,100.
The money will go towards Cardenden's Play Park Committee and to Battle Cancer.
The recent event saw 60 participants take part in 15 teams of four for a marathon row challenge; reaching 42,195m between them.
Doors opened at midday for the event - backed my main sponsor Cartmore Bulding Supplies - with the row starting at 1pm.
At £10 per entry and with sponsors backing rowers, the fundraising total reached £3,138.50 with the addition of raffle entries.
Dean Jarvis, from the facility, told the Times: "We have raised funds for charities in the past and we like to keep it local.
"We had a great response from sponsors this year with some amazing raffle prizes; hotel stays, a four-ball at The Belfry; beauty treatments etc.
"I've been quite overwhelmed by the reaction to this."
