A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital after an early morning smash today (Thursday).
Police were called to Cardenden just before 5.30am following the one-vehicle incident.
A man was required to be transported to hospital as a result of the crash.
The road was able to re-open shortly after 7am.
Police enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.25am on Thursday, 8 June, 2023, police were called to the Pitcairn Road area of Cardenden, following a report of a one-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.
"One man was taken to hospital for assessment and the road was cleared around 7.05am.
"Enquiries into the crash remain ongoing.”
