THE new manager of Hill of Beath Hawthorn has been unveiled.

Stewart Kenny will be in the dugout at Keirs Park for next season and is only the club's sixth manager in 48 years.

On his appointment, Kenny said: "I'm absolutely delighted at being offered the role of manager at such a huge club as Hill of Beath Hawthorn.

"The opportunity to manage in the Premier League with an established club is very exciting.

"I'm looking forward to getting started, and hopefully I can bring success to the club."

A club spokesperson said: "A number of strong candidates applied for the role, but Stewart's vision, drive and commitment stood out - as well as his experience in the East of Scotland setup.

"We look forward to Stewart and his management team taking us on the next steps of our senior football journey."

Kenny left East of Scotland First Division side Camelon in March.

He also previously managed Fife side Oakley United, leading them to promotion to the East of Scotland Premier League.
