MORE signings are 'imminent' at Cowdenbeath as the club provided a squad update on Sunday.

A total of ten players have been retained for next season and six are set to leave, with another heading to Australia.

Chris Aikamhenze, Jordan Armstrong, Dean Ritchie, Jack Ruddy, Sean Slaven and David Struthers, are all set to depart.

Mackenzie Lemon has also been released to allow him to pursue an "exciting opportunity" in Australia.

Loan players Mikey Cunningham, Sam Newman, Ewan Thomson, Mackenzie Williamson and Sam Young will also shortly return to their parent clubs. 

Ten players are currently signed for next season.

Lucas Berry, Andy Black, Danny Farrell, Stuart Love, Callum Murray, Alfie Robinson, Scott Sinclair, Scott Walker, Jack Tait and Ewan Macpherson will all be playing at Central Park in the 2023/24 campaign.

The status of Iain Davidson and Jack Garrad has not been stated, but both are present on the Cowdenbeath club website after an update detailing player departures.

The full club statement said: "As previously intimated, there is a good deal of ongoing recruitment activity at Central Park. 

"More signings are imminent, and discussions are actively underway with our signing targets.

"On the other side of the coin, inevitably there are also players now leaving the club and who won’t be with us in 2023/24. 

"At this juncture we can confirm that the following players will be departing: Chris Aikamhenze, Jordan Armstrong, Dean Ritchie, Jack Ruddy, Sean Slaven and David Struthers. 

"Mackenzie Lemon has also been released from his contract as he wishes to take up an exciting opportunity in Australia. 

"We thank each and every one of them for their efforts on behalf of Cowdenbeath FC and wish them all the very best for the future.

"In addition, all our loan players – Mikey Cunningham, Sam Newman, Ewan Thomson, Mackenzie Williamson and Sam Young – will shortly return to their parent clubs. 

"Again, we warmly thank them all and hope that they have benefitted from the experience. 

"Thanks too go to the parent clubs who kindly permitted them to join us at Central Park.

"Finally, we can confirm that our signed players for next season at present are Lucas Berry, Andy Black, Danny Farrell, Stuart Love, Callum Murray, Alfie Robinson, Scott Sinclair, Scott Walker, Jack Tait and Ewan Macpherson."
