A WOMAN suffered severe injuries after being attacked by a Cowdenbeath man.
The victim was kicked, punched and choked during the ordeal in Rosyth.
The assailant was 28-year-old Christopher Maxwell, of Meadowfield, Cowdenbeath.
Maxwell appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court and admitted committing the offence on February 5 at an address in Rosyth.
He assaulted his partner or ex-partner by kicking her on the body, repeatedly punching her on the head and body, then placed both hands around her neck, compressing it, all to her severe injury.
Sentence was deferred for reports until June 21.
