A CROSSHILL man challenged police officers to fight before trying to headbutt one of them during an incident in Rosyth.
Callum Morris, 25, of Castle Avenue, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on March 19 at Castlandhill Road, Rosyth, he swore, made threats of violence, challenged officers to fight, tensed his arms and attempted to break free from officers.
He also assaulted a police officer by attempting to headbutt him.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said police officers were attending an incident when Morris involved himself in the matter.
They were dealing with two intoxicated males when Morris began acting aggressively.
Sheriff Charles Macnair remitted the case to the sheriff appeal court as Morris has an unexpired part of a jail sentence to serve.
