A POLICE investigation is underway after reports of an attempted housebreaking in Lochgelly.
Officers were called to an address in the McKenzie Crescent area shortly after 2pm on Saturday afternoon.
The force has confirmed that enquiries into the incident are "continuing".
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: "Around 2.15 am on Saturday, April 8, police were called to an attempted housebreaking at an address in McKenzie Crescent, Lochgelly."
