A WOMAN was assaulted by her former partner when he turned up at her home in Cardenden uninvited and refused to leave.
In the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court was 41-year-old Mark Ellis, of Veronica Crescent, Kirkcaldy.
He admitted that on June 28 at Carden Castle Park, Cardenden, he acted in an abusive manner towards his former partner, entered her home uninvited, refused to leave and made threats to remove possessions from there.
He also assaulted the woman by pushing her against the wall and took her mobile phone from her.
Sheriff Wylie Robertson sentenced Ellis to a community payback order with two years of supervision and participation in the Caledonian Men’s Programme.
The sheriff also imposed a two-year non-harassment order.
