A road traffic offender who did not complete his unpaid work has been fined instead.

Dylan Stevenson, 26, of Main Street, Lumphinnans, appeared back in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He had previously admitted that on June 15, 2021, at Dunfermline police station he failed to provide a specimen of blood required to ascertain his ability to drive.

He had originally received a 13-month ban and a community payback order with 100 hours of unpaid work.

Representing himself, Stevenson said that work commitments and health difficulties were the reasons for him not completing the unpaid work.

Sheriff Garry Sutherland revoked the original order and fined Stevenson £420.
