A TEENAGER spat on a police officer after causing a disturbance in Kelty.
Levi Stewart, 19, of Blair Street, Kelty, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court for sentencing.
He had admitted that on October 22 at Blair Street, he shouted, swore and repeatedly made abusive remarks to police officers.
He also assaulted a police officer by spitting at him.
Depute fiscal Catherine Stevenson previously told the court that at 12.50am police attended a disturbance.
Stewart was instantly hostile to the officers calling them “black b*******”. “Paki b*******”. He was arrested after squaring up to the officers, still shouting abuse.
He then spat towards one of the officers striking him on the cheek.
Stewart, who was representing himself, said: “I do apologise for my actions.”
Stewart had been on a structured deferred sentence for six months.
When he returned to court, having stayed out of further trouble, Sheriff James Macdonald admonished Stewart.
