PUPILS from Beath High have been given the the opportunity to kickstart their career and earn qualifications.

Lime Salon has partnered with the school to offer courses from their dedication provision in Dunfermline.

The business also has a location in Inverkeithing and has been providing participants with SQA Skills for Work Hairdressing training led by industry professionals.

John Baillie, salon owner, said: "We are excited to work with local schools to give a clear pathway to the potential next generation of hairdressers.

"It’s important for schools, pupils and their parents/carers to understand what’s expected from an apprenticeship.

"This partnership will help bridge the gap between the workplace and school life."
