A DRUGS haul of more than £14,000 has taken place in Lochgelly with two arrests made.
A four-figure sum of cash has also been seized after a warrant was executed by police.
The Class A drugs - believed to be Cocaine - were discovered within the area after community engagement, local officers have stated.
A man, aged 40, and a woman, aged 27, have been arrested in connection with the find.
Sergeant John Nicol of Cowdenbeath Police Station said: “On Friday, 13 January, officers carried out a pre-planned operation in the Lochgelly area and recovered a quantity of drugs, believed to be Cocaine, with an estimated street value of £14,000. A four-figure sum of cash was also recovered.
“A 27-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man have been arrested and charged in connection with this recovery. They were released on an undertaking to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court at a later date.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
