A COWDENBEATH woman was subjected to a campaign of harassment and stalking by her former partner for three months.
John Murphy, 65, of Bryden Court, Grangemouth, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that between September 1, and November 25, 2021, at Primrose Lane, Cowdenbeath, he engaged in an abusive course of conduct towards his ex-partner by making offensive, derogatory and sexual remarks repeatedly and sending abusive, derogatory and sexual messages repeatedly.
Murphy, who was representing himself, told the court: “It was out of character for me and it will never happen again.”
Sheriff Francis Gill fined Murphy £320 and ordered him to pay £300 compensation. He also imposed a one-year non-harassment order.
