Fife Chamber of Commerce
The organisers of The 2023 Fife Business Awards in association with Blackadders and Henderson Loggie, received the highest number of applications from businesses who have never applied before.
Henderson Loggie is joint principal sponsor and will once again have a key role in the judging process and the visits to the finalists’ places of work.
Managing Partner David D Smith, said: “The quality of submissions has been outstanding again this year. I have felt extremely inspired by the determination and resilience that so many businesses & individuals across Fife have continued to show. Congratulations to all the finalists!”
Nicola Burns, Director of Marketing at fellow principal sponsor, Blackadders, in their third year as co-principal sponsor, shared the sentiment. “The standard and volume of entries for this year’s awards has been amazing. It’s so great to see so many Fife businesses engage with the awards, especially during these tough economic times. I have been involved in the FBA judging process for a number of years and I am still excited and inspired when I see so many businesses achieve great success through their ambition, resilience and ingenuity”.
The 16 strong judging panel, all prominent business figures bringing a wealth of experience across all sectors of business, have spent weeks reviewing the Fife Business Awards applications and the scores are in!
The judges agreed that the quality of applicants was outstanding, making the shortlisting process a very difficult one. They were impressed by the breadth of talent and success stemming from businesses of all shapes and sizes across Fife, and they are very much looking forward to meeting the finalists over the coming months.
Fife Chamber President, Colin Brown said: “Fife has done itself proud yet again, with high-quality submissions that demonstrate the depth of business talent and ambition and success in the kingdom. To receive so many applications from businesses that have not taken part before is particularly pleasing”.
