A KELTY teenager spat on a police officer after causing a disturbance.
Levi Stewart, 19, of Blair Street, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on October 22, at Blair Street, he shouted, swore and made abusive remarks to police officers repeatedly.
He also assaulted a police officer by spitting at him.
Depute fiscal Catherine Stevenson said that, at 12.50am, police attended a disturbance.
Stewart was instantly hostile to the officers, calling them “black b*******”. “Paki b*******”. He was arrested after squaring up to the officers, still shouting abuse.
He then spat towards one of the officers, striking him on the cheek.
Stewart, who was representing himself, said: “I do apologise for my actions.”
Sheriff Francis Gill put Stewart on a structured deferred sentence for six months. The order will be reviewed on March 8.
