AN 'URGENT WARNING' has been issued to prevent potential tragedy at Lochore Meadows.
The loch has frozen over and staff have pleaded with the community to stay off the ice today (Sunday).
A statement said: "Can all visitors to the park please refrain from walking on the frozen loch.
"Whilst the ice may look thick it can suddenly crack causing the person to fall through and potentially be trapped under it.
"Parents, carers and guardians, can you please inform your child of the dangers and dog walkers to keep their pets on the lead and off the ice."
The warning comes after four boys died in England after falling through ice in Solihull.
Finlay Butler, 8, his cousin Thomas Stewart, 11, and Jack Johnson, 10, died in hospital on Sunday. Finlay's brother Samuel Butler, 6, died on Wednesday.
