A BIG festive season feel arrived at the Corrie Centre in Cardenden.

A special Christmas party was held for user groups of the facility, by the Corrie’s management committee, and more than 50 people enjoyed the afternoon event.

The company was greeted by local minister, Rev Donald Lawrie, and Priest Father Brian Low, who gave grace before an excellent three course meal was served by David Penman and his staff.

Entertainment was provided by accordionist, Derek Muir, and vocalist Alex Lawson, from Lochgelly,

Alex Burns, the Corrie Centre management committee chairman, said: "It was the first such festive event we have been able to hold since 2019, through the problems caused by the Covid pandemic.

“I would like to say a big thank-you to Rev Lawrie and Father Low, for their assistance, and David Penman and his staff for the excellent meal served by them, and the local groups for providing some excellent raffle prizes."
