A LOCHGELLY motorist who took a photo of a bad car crash on the A92 has admitted a charge of dangerous driving.
Derek Rutherford, 47, of Cooper Ha’ Avenue, submitted a guilty plea by letter at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on December 8 last year, on the A92 near Cowdenbeath, he drove a van dangerously by holding up a mobile phone while passing a serious road accident attended by emergency personnel and was not in proper control of his vehicle.
Sheriff Keith O’Mahoney deferred sentence until January 11 for Rutherford’s attendance at court.
