A KELTY woman who assaulted two young children has been admonished.

Claire Munro, 36, of Muirton Terrace, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court having admitted the offences previously.

On various occasions between December 1, 2018, and January 1, 2019, she assaulted a girl, then aged 12, by threatening repeatedly to strike her with a belt and struck her repeatedly on the body with her hand.

On various occasions between December 1, 2018, and May 23, 2020, she assaulted another girl, then aged 11, by threatening repeatedly to strike her with a belt and struck her repeatedly on the body with her hand.

Sentencing had been deferred for a year for her to stay out of trouble.

As she had done so, Sheriff Charles Lugton admonished Munro.

In September, Munro was admonished for another assault on a child.

On that occasion she had slapped a nine-year-old girl in a row over loud music.
