COWDENBEATH'S festive fun day plans have been unveiled with a variety of entertainment on offer for all the family.

Cowdenbeath Civic Week's team are delighted to have confirmed the details for what will take place this Saturday, November 26.

It all starts at Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre from 2pm to 4pm as the Children's Christmas Party is held.

Kids can pop-in and see Santa Claus himself at his grotto and they'll be jumping for joy on the bouncy castles.

Mr Mohawk Entertainment will also be in attendance with tickets costing £2 per child for the party.

Tickets can be bought by contacting Cowdenbeath Civic Week on Facebook, or by popping in to Lucie Sue Gifts & Coffee Bar or Central Barbers, both on High Street.

The Green Square will be at the heart of proceedings with Santa travelling up the High Street at around 6pm on his sleigh before turning on the Christmas tree lights at the square at approximately 6.15pm.

The square will also have entertainment between 4pm and 7pm with Jimmy Jack and Jackie Jarrett both performing at the site across from The Kirk on High Street.
