A LOCHORE man who assaulted his partner is behind bars.
Jamie-Lee McLaren, 27, of Balbedie Avenue, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted previously that on March 17, at New Flockhouse, Lochore, he assaulted his then partner by pushing her on the neck.
McLaren was appearing for sentencing but a social work report was not available because he had not turned up for his appointment.
Sheriff Wylie Robertson deferred sentence until December 7 and remanded McLaren in custody until then.
He commented: “I’m not having the social workers’ time wasted any further."
