A DRIVER in Fife has been arrested twice in 24 hours for testing positive for cannabis.

Road Policing Scotland announced this evening (Wednesday) that local police had stopped someone on Tuesday and made an arrest as the motorist tested positive for the drug.

History repeated itself today as once again the same individual behind the wheel was caught.

The Twitter account posted: "You'd think this driver would know the rules on drug driving.

"Fife Road Policing stopped them yesterday and arrested (them) for a positive cannabis DrugWipe (a drug screening test).

"They decided to reflect on the situation with a wee joint and drove again this morning.

"Arrested and bloods taken twice in 24 hours."
