A 28-YEAR-OLD man admitted he was “out of order” when he screamed threats down the phone at his former partner last Christmas.

Jamie Law, 28, of Seamark Place, Ballingry, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court for shouting abuse down the line on Boxing Day.

He admitted that on December 26 last year, he shouted and threatened his former partner in a phone call.

Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said Law made the phone call at 6pm.

“He sounded as if he was under the influence of alcohol. He was screaming down the phone saying he was going to force entry to the house, damage items and attack people,” she added.

Law, representing himself, said: “I was out of order.”

Sheriff David Hall imposed a community payback order with 100 hours of unpaid work and one year of supervision.
