A TEENAGER caused a disturbance in Crossgates then made racist comments to police.
Ian Burt, 18, of Rimbleton Park, Glenrothes, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on October 17 last year, at Droverhall Avenue, Crossgates, he shouted, swore, acted aggressively and threw drinking glasses and other items at a door. He then made threats of violence towards police officers, made racially-offensive remarks and offensive comments of a religious nature.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said Burt had gone to his parents’ home intoxicated at 4am and caused a disturbance.
He then made threats and racist comments to police.
Sheriff David Hall imposed a community payback order with six months of supervision. He told Burt: “It’s for your own good” and warned him he could end up in custody if he continued to offend.
