A DUNFERMLINE man has been jailed for six months after ignoring a ban on entering Kelty.
Thomas Stewart, 38, of Bruce Street, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on September 13, at an address in Kelty, he breached bail conditions not to enter Kelty and not to approach or contact his partner. He also failed to adhere to a home curfew.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said police went to the woman’s home and found Stewart hiding in a bedroom.
Defence solicitor Stephen Morrison said: “He’s aware his schedule of previous convictions does him no favours. He was asked by her to go there but later she called the police to have him removed.”
Sheriff Charles Macnair told Stewart: “You have a bad record.”
He jailed Stewart and imposed a non-harassment order lasting a year.
