A LOCHGELLY man with a long record of driving offences was caught behind the wheel twice when banned.
Sonny Gibson, 35, of McGregor Avenue, submitted guilty pleas when he appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
On September 11, 2019, in Main Street, Lumphinnans, he drove when disqualified and without insurance.
He also admitted that on June 12, 2020, in Auchterderran Road, Lochgelly, he drove when disqualified and without insurance.
Sheriff Charles Macnair asked what had happened about a dangerous driving case from Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.
Enquiries by sheriff officers revealed that Gibson had failed to turn up for sentencing on that matter and a warrant was outstanding for him.
Defence solicitor Heather Morrison conceded that her client had a “bad record” for driving matters.
Sheriff Macnair transferred the Dunfermline cases to be dealt with at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on October 11 alongside the other matter.
