A COWDENBEATH man who stole booze from a store then helped himself to another four bottles of vodka from another shop – but was caught in the act.
James Stewart, 36, of Drylie Street, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff court by video-link from prison.
He admitted that on September 2, at McColls, North Street, Lochgelly, he stole a bottle of alcohol.
He also admitted that on the same day, at the Co-op store, Bank Street, Lochgelly, he picked up four bottles of vodka, put them in a bag and attempted to steal them.
He also admitted breaching bail conditions on August 31 and September 8 by contacting his partner.
Sheriff Wylie Robertson called for reports and Stewart will remain in custody until sentencing on October 19.
