A BALLINGRY man has appeared in court on a murder charge.
Rhys Bennet, 22, was remanded in custody after appearing in private and on petition at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
He faces a charge of murder and one of attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
Bennet made no plea or declaration and the case was committed for further examination. He will re-appear in court within eight days.
