A MAN has been arrested following a 'number of alleged thefts' from stores in Lochgelly.

Fife Police have revealed that a 30-year-old man has been charged in connection to the incidents between August and September, collectively worth a four-figure sum.

A statement said: "A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a number of alleged thefts, collectively worth a four-figure sum, from local supermarkets in Lochgelly between August and September, 2022.

"He is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court today (Friday)."
