A DRIVER was rushed to hospital after a car crash near Cowdenbeath.

A vehicle reportedly left the Cuddyhouse Road, Kingseat, and entered a field, landing on its roof on Thursday.

A road closure was put in place, and the driver of the car was taken to hospital.

Police Scotland did not disclose the extent of any injuries sustained in the crash.

A spokesperson said: “Officers were called to reports of a one vehicle crash on Cuddyhouse Road, Kingseat at around 5.55pm on Thursday, September 9.

“The driver was taken to hospital.

“The vehicle was recovered and the road reopened.”
