A CARDENDEN man has been given more unpaid work and a warning after failing to complete hours ordered by a sheriff.

Dylan Beveridge was sentenced previously for domestic and driving offences committed in 2020.

Beveridge, 25, of Whitehall Avenue, appeared back at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

The court was told there was still 67 hours of the 120 hours to be done.

Sheriff Paul Reid allowed the order to continue and added another 20 hours.

He warned Beveridge if he returned to court in the same position of not doing the work, he could face jail instead.

The original sentence in January last year was a community payback order with 18 months of supervision and 120 hours of unpaid work. Beveridge was also banned from driving for 18 months.

He admitted that on November 1, 2020, at Craigside Road, Cardenden, he shouted, swore and made offensive remarks in a domestically-aggravated offence.

He also admitted that in Craigside Road he drove a car without holding a valid licence and without insurance.
