A WOMAN was taken to hospital after her car left the road and crashed into a lamppost in Lochgelly.
She was injured in the accident outside Lochgelly High School, on Station Road, at lunchtime yesterday (Thursday).
Emergency services, including Fife Fire and Rescue Service, were called to the scene to help.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received a report of a one-car crash on Station Road in Lochgelly around 12.15pm on Thursday, August 18.
"The female driver of the car was taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment.”
