A LOCHGELLY man thought he would be okay to drive after drinking lager the night before but was “clearly wrong”.
As a result, 24-year-old Craig Wishart, of Garry Street, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on February 23 on Main Street, Lochgelly, he drove when unfit through drink or drugs.
Defence solicitor Peter Robertson said: “He’d been drinking cans of lager the night before.
“When he woke up, he thought he would be okay to drive but clearly he was wrong.”
Sheriff Susan Duff banned Wishart from driving for a year and fined him £210.
