A CROSSHILL man’s theft of a bottle of wine proved to be costly.
Gary Marshall, 36, of Castle Avenue, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on October 11 last year at Tesco Express, Station Road, Cardenden, he stole a bottle of alcohol.
The court was told the bottle of wine stolen was priced at £6 and there was no recovery by staff as Marshall refused to hand it over.
Sheriff Grant McCulloch fined Marshall £110 and ordered him to pay £6 compensation.
