IT was an emotional night as a fundraiser for Andy's Man Club in Cowdenbeath raised £1,226.
The event at The Kirk on Friday was hailed as a "massive success" for the local men's support group based at Central Park.
James Scade, one of the facilitators who helped launch AMC Cowdenbeath, was overwhelmed by the turnout.
He said: "The event itself was a massive success.
"The hall was full of people and the vibe around the place was class.
"Kate Harris kicked us off and she was outstanding and had the crowd joining in back and forth with her which was very enjoyable!
"We then had a powerful speech by one of the fellas from one of the Fife clubs, and it was very moving!
"He was then followed by the raffle which went down a storm, as I think we had around 70-plus prizes in total.
"Dana Coyle was a wee gem the whole night sorting the tickets and then doing the raffle along with Megan Stewart.
"We then had Parka Life take us into the night and again they were fantastic. Both them and Kate deserve massive praise for agreeing to be a part of the event free of charge, they were a pleasure to work with.
"On a personal note for me, I honestly just want to say thank you to every single person that turned up and gave generously to the charity. I appreciate it so much.
"To have my close friends there with me alongside my family who all know the struggles I've had and what the club has done for me, it was a very emotional night for me!
"The amount we raised for AMC is outstanding and I'm chuffed to bits with it."
