FOUR youths have been charged for damaging a project created to bring joy to many in the Cowdenbeath area.
The Coo Trail in Woodend Community Woodland was a joint effort from Beath High School and local police officers and was designed to engage the community and help tackle anti-social behaviour.
However, four youngsters - three teenage girls and one boy - have been charged with vandalism of the initiative.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Four youths, the females aged 13,14 and 16 years, and a 12 year old male, have been charged with a vandalism to the Coo Trail in Woodend Community Woodland reported to police on Tuesday, June 28.
"They are all the subject of a report to the Scottish Children's Reporters Administration.”
