A LOCHORE woman has been charged after a child swallowed a diazepam tablet.
The offence was committed by Glenda Swan, 51, of Rosewell Drive.
Swan was not present at Dunfermline Sheriff Court but her solicitor submitted a guilty plea.
She has admitted that on July 17, 2020, at an address in Lochgelly, she neglected a child then aged two, by failing to keep secure a diazepam tablet whereby the child ingested it.
Sheriff Charles Macnair deferred sentence until July 13 for reports and for Swan’s personal appearance.
