THE fixtures for the 2022/23 season are out and Kelty Hearts will make their League One bow against FC Edinburgh.

Both sides were promoted from the fourth tier last season, with champions Kelty welcoming the Ainslie Park side - who achieved promotion through the play-offs - on July 30 for a 3pm kick-off.

They will then travel to Alloa on August 6; and Clyde on August 13.

John Potter will then face a reunion with Dunfermline Athletic as the new Kelty manager and ex-Pars boss will welcome his former side to New Central Park on August 20.

Stewart Petrie's Montrose is next on the calendar for Kelty on August 27 to conclude the first handful of games.

Over the festive season, Kelty will play Dunfermline on Christmas Eve, Saturday Dec 24, at New Central Park.

And on Monday, January 2, they will play Alloa at the Indodrill.

Kelty will end the season with a trip to Dumfries, as Willie Gibson's Queen of the South are the opposition on May 6.
