A 76-YEAR-OLD woman caused a domestic disturbance, throwing items about the house and making offensive remarks to her partner.

Carolyn McLean, formerly of Main Street, Crosshill, and now of St Andrews Court, Burntisland, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

She admitted that on September 4 last year, at Main Street, Crosshill, she made offensive comments repeatedly to her then partner, threw a coaster-holder, smashing it, and also threw a metal foot stool.

She then breached bail undertaking conditions when on September 16, she went to her former home in Main Street, contacted her ex-partner, demanded entry and went in.

The court was told McLean had a number of significant medical conditions, had now been re-housed and the relationship was over.

Sheriff Andrew Berry told McLean in the “exceptional” circumstances of the case he would admonish her.
