COWDENBEATH FC have slashed the prices of their season tickets as they adapt to the fresh challenge of the Lowland League.

Relegation from League Two will hit the club hard and the board of directors have knocked £50 off an adult season ticket, to £130, in the hope more fans will buy at a reduced price and keep backing the Blues.

However, supporters can pay more if they wish!

Club secretary David Allan said: “We have though been asked by some fans, if it is possible to top up the reduced payment to £180, by means of an additional £50 donation, and our answer is ‘Of course it it is!’

“We would naturally much appreciate anyone wishing to assist the club in such a manner and it is the same for the adult concessions which see a £20 reduction from last season, and likewise if anyone wishes to donate the additional £20 to the club that can be done with our thanks.”

The arrangements for admission, and season ticket prices for Central Park for season 2022/23, covering the 17 scheduled home league matches have now been confirmed.

Prices are: Adult – £130. This represents a £50 reduction from the price which applied in League Two; Concession (65 and over/disabled) – £70; Juvenile (age 13 to 16) - £30.

For youths (aged 12 and under) there are no season tickets on sale as Cowden are pleased to confirm that last season’s Kids Go Free initiative will now apply for all Lowland League matches too.

Sales of season tickets will commence during normal office hours at Central Park, from Monday May.

In addition, online purchases will be accommodated via Cowdenbeath’s club partners, Football Nation.

David pointed out that the benefits of buying a season ticket are: discounted admission to every league game; priority for any all ticket matches at Central Park or all-ticket away matches; £10 discount on the club’s Step sponsorship scheme; all season ticket holders to vote each year to decide the club’s player of the year.

Cowden’s popular Club 135 members scheme has also been revamped for the new season.

For an additional payment of £135, adult and concession season ticket holders will receive free admission to all the club’s cup matches in addition to the league matches at Central Park in season 2022/23, such as the Scottish Cup, Premier Sports Cup, SPFL Trust Trophy, Lowland League Cup and South Region Challenge Cup games.

Club 135 members also receive a pie and hot drink in the Andy Matthew Lounge at half-time at every game as well as a £25 drinks voucher to spend at the bar.

The following standard pricing will apply for league matches at Central Park in 2022/23: Adults £10 / concessions £5.

Cup ties are subject to individual pricing arrangements which will be publicised before the match via the club website and social media outlets. If you have a disability and require an attendant, the attendant will be admitted to games for free.

Office opening hours are, Monday - 9am to 1pm; Tuesday - 9am to 4pm; Wednesday - closed; Thursday - 9am to 4pm and Friday - 9am to 1pm.
