COWDENBEATH Area Community Association is £400 better off after a donation to the organisation following the funeral of former chairman David Stevenson.
David was instrumental in the formation of CACA, which since the mid 1970s, has provided youth club facilities based at Beath High School.
The money was raised from donations received at David’s funeral some weeks ago, made up to £400 by Cowdenbeath Rotary Club, another organisation he served for some considerable time.
CACA’s Alex Haddow said: “It was a very good donation which we thank everyone for and the children were delighted to welcome David’s wife Mary and Yolanda Hilton, from the Rotary Club, at the Friday night session.”
