A 35-year-old woman who was caught with drugs in Kelty after a tip-off has been fined.
Shazia Ahmed, formerly of Kirktoun Street, Ballingry, now of Cullen Crescent, Kirkcaldy, was not present at Dunfermline Sheriff Court but was represented by her solicitor.
Ahmed admitted that on February 23 last year at John Smith Place, Kelty, she was in possession of cannabis and etizolam.
Depute fiscal Catherine Stevenson said police had received information about suspicious activity at the property and carried out a search.
There was a small amount of herbal cannabis and 74 etizolam tablets.
Sheriff Wyllie Robertson fined £520.
