A LOCHGELLY woman has been arrested, local police officers have stated.
In a post on social media within the last hour, Cowdenbeath Police announced that a 39-year-old had been arrested and charged in relation to a, "reported assault, threatening behaviour and theft by shoplifting".
The force also said she will now appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court next month.
The statement said: "Our officers have arrested and charged a 39-year-old female, from Lochgelly, in relation to a reported assault, threatening behaviour and theft by shoplifting.
"She will appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court next month."
