A FORMER Chelsea youth will finish this season with Cowdenbeath after completing a loan move from the Scottish Championship.
It has been confirmed this afternoon that Samuel Ompreon, 21, has moved to the Blue Brazil from Falkirk for the remainder of the campaign.
Signing ahead of the SPFL loan window closing, a club statement from Cowden said: "With the SPFL loan window closing today, we concluded an agreement with @FalkirkFC that sees forward Samuel Ompreon move to Central Park for the rest of the season.
"We extend a Blue Brazil welcome to Sammy and our grateful thanks go to Falkirk FC for their assistance."
Ahead of his loan move, Ompreon, a forward, failed to register in the 13 appearances he made for Falkirk this season.
He joined the Bairns in August last year after coming through the youth academies of Chelsea and Sheffield United.
He joined Falkirk on an initial one-year deal, and the club claimed to have fought off approaches from various other Scottish clubs to secure the Englishman’s signature.
