COWDENBEATH striker Kris Renton has left Central Park.
In a statement posted by the club in the last few minutes, it was confirmed that Kris Renton has been released by mutual consent.
The club said: "Cowdenbeath FC have today released Kris Renton on a mutual consent basis following discussions between club and player.
"Kris of course was out of action for a period due to an injury concern and more recently has been on the bench. He really wishes to be playing regularly and thus a parting of the ways has now been agreed.
"We are sure Cowden fans will join us in thanking Kris for all his contribution to Cowdenbeath FC over his two spells with us. There were ups and downs and goals and memorable moments. We wish him all the best for the future."
