A TEENAGER smashed up his partner’s home in Lochgelly after a row with her.
Teejay Jackson, 19, of St Kilda Crescent, Kirkcaldy, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on December 19 last year, at High Street, Lochgelly, he repeatedly punched and kicked a bedroom door and the walls in the hallway, causing damage.
The court was told Jackson and his partner had spent the day in Edinburgh and returned to her home in Lochgelly at around 8pm.
He contacted some friends and invited them over to have a drink.
At 4am, his partner went to bed but Jackson and his friend were still drinking.
She was woken up at 6am and an argument began between the couple as she was not happy about the state of her flat by this time.
Jackson then started punching at doors and walls, damaging them and the police were called.
Defence solicitor Jaclyn Robertson said her client was a first-time offender and was “ashamed of his behaviour”.
She added that his mum had paid £100 for the damage caused and Jackson had now stopped drinking.
Sheriff Wyllie Robertson fined Jackson £395.
