A MAN been charged for purchasing alcohol for youths in the Lochgelly area.
A social media post from Cowdenbeath Police officers on Twitter this afternoon has stated: "PC's Barker and Scola have charged a 54 year old male with purchasing alcohol for people under the age of 18 in the Lochgelly area.
"This type of behaviour is not acceptable!
"He will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."
Police Scotland confirmed to the Times: "A 54-year old man is subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with purchasing alcohol for under 18s."
