AN ONLINE stalker who bombarded women with sex messages and indecent images is behind bars.
Christopher Cowan targeted six females in crimes that lasted more than three years.
Cowan, 31, of Lady Anne Court, Crossgates, went on trial at Dunfermline Sheriff Court and a jury found him guilty of the long list of charges he faced.
He sent the victims sex messages via WhatsApp and Snapchat.
He also sent them numerous images of an erect penis.
And he created fake online profiles and sent messages to one woman suggesting he was monitoring her movements.
Further, he turned up at the workplace of another victim.
The women he targeted lived in various locations including Dunfermline, Cairneyhill and Stirling.
The offences started on May 1, 2017, and continued up to July 2020.
Cowan also breached court orders banning him from contacting two of the women.
Sentence was deferred for reports until March 3 and Cowan was remanded in custody.
