COWDENBEATH's league fixture with Stirling Albion this afternoon has been postponed.

Heavy rain overnight and into this morning has made the Forthbank pitch unplayable.

A pitch inspection was carried out at Noon, with officials deeming that the 3pm kick-off in cinch League Two could not go ahead due to the waterlogged pitch.

A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.

In the cinch Championship Partick Thistle's home clash with Queen of the South at Firhill has also been postponed for the same reason.
