COWDENBEATH will have some extra height in their front line against Stranraer tomorrow after signing a new striker.
Manager Maurice Ross is continuing to try and bolster his squad at Central Park and has announced the signing of David Carty – an imposing forward who stands at 6 feet 4 inches tall.
The boss said: “David was, until recently, leading the front line for Bangor City in the League of Wales and offers us some more attacking options.”
Carty, 27, is a Londoner and Ross was delighted that he was willing to make the commitment to come up to Scotland.
The boss added: “He is very keen to play a part in aiding the Blue Brazil as we battle to meet the challenges ahead in League 2.”
